Creative Wellness Workshops

Lori has conducted Creative Wellness workshops for almost 20 years.

"[Lori] has an incredible ability to create a totally safe place, as well as to empower her students. She has elicited feelings in me that seem to bypass my rational thinking and get right to the core of my being! I found that even though I had always feared "doing art" that my creative juices began to flow from the moment I entered her classroom."
- Chautauqua Institution workshop participant, 2006

Wellness Goals
All Creative Wellness Workshops are custom-designed with specific goals in mind. There are many reasons why someone might choose to attend a workshop or personal session, such as:

The Integrated Wellness Model

All Creative Wellness Workshops are built upon three closely interrelated concepts, collectively known as the Integrated Wellness Model.

Within this model there is no specific point of enlightenment or actualization. Rather, this ebbing and flowing process is a tool for leading a meaningful and productive life. As the world around us constantly changes, so do we constantly change. If we empower ourselves by actively addressing this change and embracing it, we can create an alternative to crisis.

Workshop Activities

All workshops are custom designed to create a program that works for your group, with consideration given to setting, time frame and budgetary guidelines. Programs combine elements from these general categories:

A Workshop Experience

In December of 2005, Lori was invited to Taiwan for 2 weeks to conduct several Healing Art workshops. While there she visited 3 cities and led workshops for dozens of participants, from schoolchildren to adults.

The workshops were open to anyone. However, some of the participants chose to attend in order to work through issues such as rape, domestic violence, serious illnesses, and phobias. This was truly a wonderful and enlightening experience, for Lori as well as the participants.

With this 2-day experience with Lori, I am touching my inner fear and healing in this process. I believe I now have enough courage now to take me over the difficulties.
